A 2× means the market cap doubles
A price with many zeros is not a cheap coin. The market cap is the price of the whole coin. That is the number that has to double.
If you buy at a $2 million market cap, a 2× is $4 million and a 10× is $20 million. Sell costs still come off the top, because a real sell moves a thin pool.
| Now | A 2× | A 10× |
|---|---|---|
| $500 thousand | $1 million | $5 million |
| $2 million | $4 million | $20 million |
| $30 million | $60 million | $300 million |
